DeleteFor example, if your class is from 8 to 9:30 AM, then class is canceled since the delay is until 10 AM.
Classes that start before, but end after the delay will resume at their regular time.
For example, if your class is from 9 to 11:30 AM, then your class begins at 10 and ends at 11:30 AM still, since the delay is until 10 AM.
Class times are unaffected. Your classes will not move up one hour today.
Since this person isn't an actual faculty or staff member, don't listen to them.

ReplyDeleteIf I have a class at 8, and another at 9:30, is my 8 am class cancelled or is it moved to 10? If its moved to 10 then I'm assuming my 9:30 would then begin at 11:30. Or is the 8 am class completely cancelled? If the 8 am class is cancelled, would the 9:30 class still end at 11? Or would it end at 11:30? Please let me know asap because I have a strict work schedule.

Anything that starts at 7,8,9,10 those classes should be cancelled and anything after 10 am its going to be regular session, but its still depends on the weather condition

ReplyDeleteI am an HCC employee, all classes are that are scheduled before 10am are cancelled. Due to scheduling conflict, there is no way to change morning classes to a later time. Therefore, classes before 10 are cancelled.

ReplyDeleteThe campus is closed until 10. No classes or anything else. Orientations will be rescheduled so wait until campus is reopened and call to see when. As far as classes, most classes share their rooms with other classes so there's no way to move the time to a later slot. If your class is scheduled while the campus is closed, your class is simply canceled. If the campus does reopen today (like it says, check back at nine), and your commute is dangerous, then go ahead and risk being late to class or, if you have to, stay home. Your professors were in the same city as you when it was flooding. They cannot say that you don't have a valid reason to miss class.
